My journey

My journey with dogs began with the arrival of Triss, an Irish Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier, back in 1992 when I was just 12 years old. Little did I know then that this would be the start of a lifelong adventure, one that would shape my path in profound ways.

Over the years, I've had dogs facing various challenges, from epilepsy and thyroid issues to spondylosis, thrombocytopenia, a brain hemorrhage, and even one bitten by a snake. Each of these conditions became a learning experience, and I quickly realized that conventional veterinary medicine didn't always hold all the answers. This realization led me to explore alternative methods and homeopathy.

I discovered that heavy metals and other chemicals can wreak havoc in both our bodies and those of our canine companions. This understanding pushed me toward a more holistic view of health. However, it was when my Whippet developed kidney failure that I truly grasped the significance of nutrition.

Sadly, kidney failure is a relentless ailment, and my beloved Whippet eventually crossed the rainbow bridge at the age of 13. It was a painful loss, but it spurred me to dig deeper. I began to delve into the role of diet in our furry friends' lives.

Today, I prepare my dogs' and cats' food from scratch, and they consume all their meat and bones raw. This is my conviction: by providing them with natural and nutritious sustenance, I can contribute to their long-term well-being.

So, from that very first day with Triss to my current endeavors to offer dogs a healthier and happier future through improved nutrition, my journey with dogs has been a loving and enlightening experience. I look forward to continuing to share my experiences and knowledge to help more dogs and their owners thrive together.
